When the Wall of Berlin was built, the Gate would be in a no-man's land.

After the Reunification of Germany, the Gate of Brandenburg returned to the place it had like merit. It would be restored a few times until to stay like today.

It's in a privileged situation today. A big number of tourist visit it every year and it is the center of a lot of festivities, musical concerts or activities. We're lucky when we visited it, because there was a fair about Turkey. That belly dancers!!
